About Dr. Shazia Sami
Dr. Shazia Sami is the founder and director of NY Laser MD, a medical spa specializing in laser hair removal and skin tightening treatments for clients across Long Island and Nassau County.
Dr. Sami is a board-certified MD who has been practicing medicine since 2006. She has an extensive practice that includes women, men, young children, and teens. Dr. Sami specializes in women's health, weight loss, and skin treatments. Her extensive medical background allows her to diagnose health disorders and consult with patients and medical spa clients about the ideal treatments for their needs.
Dr. Sami completed her residency at Southside Hospital and North Shore-LIJ. As a medical doctor, she has experience working in urgent care centers and at South Nassau Communities Hospital, where she honed her medical skills. To date, she is affiliated with Jamaica Hospital and Queens Hospital Medical Center and is a member of the AAFP and APPNA for physicians.
As a board-certified physician, Dr. Sami established her medical spa to focus on non-surgical cosmetic treatments that help people look and feel their best. As the heart of NY Laser MD, she has created a spa setting that is welcoming and dedicated to delivering safe and effective treatments for her clientele.
